Solar lights
1. How does solar power work?
When it starts to get dark, the sensor will automatically turn on the light. After 6-8 hours, the lights automatically stop burning. The next day the batteries will recharge in daylight. On a sunny, bright day de LED lights will stay on longer than on a dark, cloudy day. Note: when using the light for the first time, please charge it for 1-2 days in direct sunlight, after turning on the ‘ON/OFF’ switch. This will benefit the life span of the battery and ensure proper functioning of the light.
2. Is there a battery in a solar light?
Yes, there is a battery in every solar light. The solar panel is not able to supply the LED directly with power. The solar panel charges the battery, after which the battery can power the LED.
Christmas & Other lights
Some of the lights aren’t working
Despite our strict quality control, sometimes things do go wrong with lighting. Please read the below tips first before contacting the retailer:
- Are the lights plugged into the socket correctly?
- Is the plug at the other end properly connected to the transformer?
- Is the plug connected to the transformer correctly? Please take a good look at the shape of the pins / holes.
- Does your transformer have a timer? Adjust the timer and check whether the lighting works after the adjustment.
- Is it a solar product? Please make sure you have followed the guidelines under question “1. How does solar work?”
If it still doesn’t work, please contact your retailer for the manufacturing guarantee.
